Infrastructure

There are many reasons why aluminum is the preferred material in outdoor infrastructure and used in bridges, lighting in smart cities and modern railways.

Low maintenance

Extruded aluminum products last long and require minimal maintenance. They are weatherproof, corrosion-resistant and immune to the effects of UV rays. Add surface treatment for a certain color or design, and performance is optimized even further.

Safe

Our aluminum pole products have been tested for safety by an independent accredited test institute. They are certified according to the applicable European EN 40/EN 12899 standard and tested in accordance with the EN 12767 standard. Our passive safe poles are fully crash tested and endorsed by a notified body.

Light and strong

Installing infrastructure is easier with a lightweight material. Aluminum’s high strength-to-weight ratio enables you to design light structures that are stable.

Eternal life

Sapa was the first light pole manufacturer to be Cradle to Cradle Certified™ for its products. Non-polluting aluminum is well suited to outdoor infrastructure and is easy to recycle and reuse.
